Dr. Robert Redfield dropped a bombshell on the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee six months ago. He claimed that healthy people do not need to wear masks.
Of course, the liberals were frothing with rage because this went against their chosen agenda. They told people that all of the medical professionals were on their side on this one.
Dr. Redfield even provided a follow-up tweet, in case anyone wanted to argue about it online. “CDC does not currently recommend the use of facemasks to help prevent novel #coronavirus. #2019nCoV is not spreading in communities in the US. Take everyday preventive actions to help slow the spread of respiratory illness,” read the February tweet.
The United States medical elites couldn’t stick with this plan. That’s why they changed course soon after. When Dr. Redfield spoke with the Senate Appropriations Committee a few weeks ago, he had done a complete 180 on the matter. Now, everyone needs to wear masks and this is the best way to remain protected from the virus.
As if this were not enough, the doctor has changed his mind yet again! We just wish that the medical elites would figure it out before it is too late. They cannot seem to come to any sort of consensus that people can depend on.
One month we are told that the masks are the most important thing and within a few weeks, someone is telling us that they are actually not the most important thing.
The narrative whiplash that is taking place here is enough to drive anyone crazy. NEW: CDC Director Redfield to US Senate comments: “These facemasks are the important, powerful public health tool we have … I might even go so far as to say that this facemask is more guaranteed to protect me against COVID than when I take a COVID vaccine,” reads the new tweet from NBC News.
Now that there is evidence against the idea of masks, there are some who are wondering what comes next. Jordan Schachtel has provided a sobering statistic to anyone who believes that masks are the be all end all when it comes to keeping COVID-19 at bay.
“CDC: 85% of COVID-19 patients report ‘always’ or ‘often’ wearing a mask. Americans are wearing masks, but masks aren’t working,” he tweeted.
These numbers definitely don’t jibe with what the Democrats have to say about this issue. They want everyone to believe that masks are the only way because they are a form of mind control.
As long as everyone is being subservient, the Democrats are happy. This is a party that does not worry about the long term, as long as they are getting their way in the short term.
We are unsure how long much longer this mask related power trip is going to last but we need it to be over with as soon as possible. The Democrats have carried on long enough and we need to know when this is going to be over. The CDC does not seem committed to any specific point of view on this either.
Is it just us or are these policies being decided on the fly? Watching these people make it up as they go along is too much to bear. Would it be too much to ask for some sort of united vision?
At this point, we feel like we are watching a bunch of reactionaries at work. These quacks are not providing us with any sort of real assistance. They need to sit down somewhere and be quiet.
Any time they are ready to do so, we are also ready. Americans whose lives have been thrown into a total state of upheaval are not going to be impressed by the constant flip-flopping.
This is why so many folks are skeptical about the usefulness of masks. If the medical elites cannot even seem to agree on whether they are helpful or not, what’s the point?
